Model village-preliminary survey 26/5/2013 AN-UNIT NO 215;BMSC GHSSKAMBALLUR

10 volunteer leaders from the  BHOOMITHRASENA CLUB visited the proposed zone for a model village in Kollada ,2 km away from the school and conducted a survey of the area today.Ward member Sulochana T V , the pta president Mathew C J and  Damodaran K V ,the secretary, Happy Arts and Sports club , Kollada and the Programme Officer, Radhakrishnan C K guided the students.The volunteers collected data   pertaining to the various projects to be implemented in the area from 16 houses.The primary  assessment job will be completed this week.

      Five families  in the area were newly enrolled by the volunteers today in the Labhaprabha campaign pioneered by the KSEB to reduce power consumption in Kerala.Our  project envisages to enroll all the families in the model village in the campaign.

An Awareness Class On Friday 24/05/2013 As Part Of HARITHAVAZHIYORAM PROJECT

               An Awareness Class in environmental issues  for volunteers was conducted today on Friday 24/05/2013 as part of HARITHAVAZHIYORAM PROJECT initiated by the NSS  unit ,Bhoomithra Sena Club in GHSS Kamballur  and the Social Forestry Department,Kasargod.The class was moderated by Bhaskaran Vellur earlier the programme was inaugurated by Sajeevan Kamballur,Chairman ,School Management Committee in a function presided by ward member Sulochana T V.

               Mathew K D , The Principal;Radhakrishnan Master, Programme Officer,Angel Chacko And Sangeetha M S addressed the gathering.Jincy Sara Achan Kunhu welcomed the gathering  and Shabana P V extended a vote of thanks.

Abdul Nassar ,Range Officer Kanhangad and Ramachandran K ,Social Forestry Officer gave details of the programme HARITHAVAZHIYORAM PROJECT.About 500 saplings will be supplied by the forest department which will be planted on the sides of the roads in Kamballur area in a stretch of about 10 km in four sections of roads .The protective guards will be provided by the Forest Department.The manual work involved will be facilitated by the student  volunteers of  Bhoomithra Sena Club ,the NSS unit and the local people. The work will begin on 5^th June 2013 and is expected to be over by November 30,2013.

Observing the International Biodiversity Day (May 22)

A pledge to protect biodiversity was taken and a discussion about enriching the biodiversity of the campus was conducted in the school campus today on 22/05/2013.The  Bhoomithra Sena Club in the school was observing the International Biodiversity Day (May 22)in collaboration with the NSS UNIT.
    Hareendranathan.P,Ayannur; an environmental enthusiast and a HSST of this school addressed the gathering and emphasised the fact that we have a responsiblity to enrich and sustain the biodiversity. Midhuna Shaji ,the voluteer captain welcomed the gathering .She pointed out that the biodiversity should be protected.Arjun .T.R extended a vote of thanks after presenting a plan of action by the unit involving the community for the year 2013-14.
    A Model Eco-friendly Village in collaboration with SHUCHITHWA MISSION ,KASARAGOD ; Harithavazhiyoram (PLANTING AND PROTECTING 500 PLANTS ON THE SIDES OF MAJOR ROADS  ) in collaboration with FOREST DEPARTMENT ,KERALA; Support Labhaprabha Project in collaboration with KSEB, Jalaayanam Kamballur in collaboration with CCDU,KERALA are the main projects to be completed  within six months.

വയനാട് ജില്ലയിലെ ബോ യ്സ് ടൌണ്‍ -ൽ വെച്ച് നടന്നു .വിവിധ ജില്ലകളിൽ നിന്നും 2 7  യൂണിറ്റുകളിൽ നിന്നായി 118 വിദ്യാർത്ഥി പ്രതിനിധി കളും 27 അധ്യാപക പ്രതിനിധി കളും എത്തിച്ചേർന്ന പരിപാടിയിൽ കമ്പല്ലുർ സ്കൂളിനെ  പ്രതിനിധീകരിച്ച് ആനന്ദ്‌ ആർ ,കൃപേഷ് വി വി ,സൂര്യമോൾ  കെ ആർ ;മേഘ മുരളിധരൻ എന്നീ വിദ്യാർ ഥികളും പ്രോഗ്രാം ഓഫീസറും (രാധാകൃഷ്ണൻ സി കെ)  പങ്കെടുത്തു .
 സംഘാടനത്തിലും ചർച്ചകളിലും അവലോകന യോഗത്തിലും നമ്മുടെ പ്രതിനിധികൾ ഗണ്യമായ പങ്കു വഹിച്ചു .
ഈ പ്രവർത്തന വർഷത്തെ വിവിധപ്രവർത്തനങ്ങൾ ,സാമ്പത്തിക വിനിയോഗം ,ഡോകുമെന്റഷൻ തുടങ്ങിയവ ചർച്ച ചെയ്യപ്പെട്ടു.
പരിസ്ഥിതി കാലാവസ്ഥാ വ്യതിയാന വകുപ്പിന്റെ യും കേരള ഹയർ സെകന്ടരി വകുപ്പിന്റെയും സംയുക്ത ആ ഭിമുഖ്യ ത്തിലാണ് പരിശീലനം നടന്നത് .
